About Lanterns…

Since the early 50s (when Badari Lighting took his first steps as a lighting company in Italy), the lantern was considered a key piece in the range of lighting equipment proposed, at that time, by the company’s founder, Marcello Badari. Lanterns are present in history since ancient times. They where initially produced using poor materials, such as clay, in order to contain oil. In the Middle Ages, for example, lanterns were simple candles framed by metal. Over the years, from the late Middle Ages onwards, with the advent of Gothic style in France and in Europe, lanterns have become furniture. The evolution of this object in time is noteworthy because the lantern has been transformed from a simple tool to a decorative element. In the pictures above you can see only a few pieces of our lantern collection. Our customers like this kind of light because it creates an atmosphere. The typical French style Louis XV and XVI lantern, remains an undisputed bestseller and it is cyclically required from year to year by our customers. Our entire range of lanterns (currently for interiors only) has a large number of models and sizes for any kind of space or need. We use luxury materials such as are brass and bronze. In addition, we provide a wide choice of unique finishes. To see our complete collection, please click HERE
